The Mission
Fackle provides a free and fully functional set of internet tools that differ from mainstream alternatives in fundamental ways:
Search Engine: Search results are based on what the database actually knows, and not what the World Economic Forum members want you to see. There's no algorithmic manipulation, just pure relevance.
Webmaster Tools: These are the tools that let webmasters instantly produce search results that rank highly based on the orthographical relevance of search queries to domain names first and queries to page descriptions secondly. There is no guesswork, and no gaming the system. The results are displayed in a transparent and logical ranking system.
Social Network: This is the platform that prioritizes freedom of speech over app store community standards. There's no forced identity verification, no photo or video selfie requirements, and no suspensions or deletions—ever. Even so-called "hate speech" or hateful content stays, because the law is the only line we draw.
Video Conferencing: The video conferences operate by legal boundaries only, and not by corporate content policies. These are either private discussions or public forums where participants can speak freely without fear of administrative oversight or content-based restrictions. There's no flagging system or hurt-feelings button.
Email System: Having an @fackle.com email address means having access to digital correspondence that respects the principle that communication should flow freely between consenting parties.
