These are either private discussions or public forums where participants can speak freely without fear of administrative oversight or content-based restrictions. There's no flagging system or hurt-feelings button.
Email: Having an @fackle.com email address means having access to your email from any device at any time, without dealing with obstacles like two-factor authentication or identity verification. There's also no automatic purging of old email. It stays where you put it until you delete it.
